Exhibition continues for
three weeks
Guido Baragli was born on
Christmas Day 1962, in Palermo, Sicily. He studied at the
Academy of Fine Art, Palermo, where he attained a Master
of Painting Degree. Having first encountered Guido’s work
in a private collection in Sicily, we were immediately
impressed.
His paintings, although of
unusual proportion, were totally in harmony and
perspective, truly the mark of a unique and gifted artist.
Furthermore the spectrum and intensity of colours only
added to the ‘wow’ factor we experienced. Throughout his
professional career in art,
Guido’s work has been
influenced by Giotto, Antonello da Messina, Casorati and
the classic Italian Masters. We made contact with him
whilst he was exhibiting in South America some two years
ago and the seed was sown for this, his first major UK
exhibition.
The Artist’s work is to be
found in many private and corporate collections and,
significantly, in the Museum of Modern Art, Palermo. We
hope you will join us and Guido at the private view, to
enjoy this inspired and vibrant exhibition.
